Typography Comparison

In GRC 322 - Advanced Digital Typography, we studied advanced principles of typography for both print and digital media. The course covered page layout, font management, and file preparation, with an emphasis on web typography and eBook creation.

This assignment asked me to select two contrasting fonts and create a design to highlight their similarities and differences. The project involved analyzing the fonts' characteristics—like weight, style, and spacing—and showcasing how they could complement or contrast with each other in a layout. This assignment deepened my understanding of typographic design and the importance of font selection in creating effective, visually appealing communication. In fact, I had so much fun I created multiple different color combinations!
